The story has good example of realism, because he shows how places or things are dangerous. The weather was 75 degrees below 0, which is very cold. he was suffering frost bite while traveling himself. There was no sunlight.

If the Fahrenheit is more below than 50 degrees, then it will turn chilly. Is gonna be like an ice because if it is more below 0, is gonna turn 14 degree Celsius. It's gonna make us turn into ice or we gonna die in the cold. 0 degree can make the land turn into Antarctica. When you sleep in a cold place, you won't wake up easy.

The difference between knowledge and instinct is that knowledge is when you're learning anything. Also it means that is created and shared. Instinct means when is fixing a pattern with good behavior of humans and animals. Also means when you have a natural way of acting. These two have similar reference of behavior.
